What is Laurel At Sunset?

We are a membership-based online service & tool platform for interior designers. We provide interior designers one stop online virtual showroom experience with friendly purchasing & logistics service. We build up a cloud platform together with our mobile solution --- 3Dazer® & App for designers to manage their projects and work on their mobile devices more easily and efficiently. We help interior designers to concentrate on their creative job rather than routine and chores.

What are the benefits of membership?

3Dazer & Mobile App for interior design

3Dazer® is a laser measurement device and app launched by Laurel At Sunset, Inc. With 3Dazer®, you can turn your iPhone into a smart measuring tool, which enables you to do direct measurement or create a project and measure by rooms.

You can create and manage your projects with this app, name it, record client's information, add pictures, measure the rooms as well as sketch the floor plan and mark on the picture. 

Designer projects cloud platform

Based on cloud service, the platform provides designers easy access to manage their projects wherever they are through their mobile device, laptop or desktop.

You can create a project in your account on our platform with all the information well organized and easy to browse. All the project information is classified by rooms, including measurements, photos, floor plan sketch, marks and notes. When designing the room, you can also upload all the furnishings information you pick for the room and save them in your personal products library for your future use. All the measurements can be exported to third party software such as "AutoCAD" and "Sketch up" for you to draw the floor plan or create the 3D model with your familiar tools.

With 3Dazer and mobile App, all the information collected on your iPhone will be automatically synchronized to your cloud account. And you can share the project with your coworkers and client without worrying about sharing or sending large files.

Purchasing and Logistic Services

We offer comprehensive purchasing and logistic services to our Trade and Pro Members. Over the years we established direct contacts with vendors’ warehouses and shipping companies, constantly polishing the coordination of often complicated and unpredictable supplying channels. W`e communicate with multiple vendors and shippers on your behalf and provide you one stop information source on all of your orders so you save your billable hours and explore your creative genius. This way, you will be able to handle more projects especially if you are solopreneur designer with a busy schedule.

You focus on your creative process of design and communication with your precious clients and we will take care of placing an order, corresponding back and forth with tons of vendors about upholstery, finishes and availability. Our logistics team will monitor production, shipping and White Glove delivery service directly to your client. 

Virtual Showroom

Extensive catalogs of top brands of furniture, lighting and home décor are available for our trade members. Using the latest technology, we organized acclaimed furnishings manufacturers into Virtual Showrooms. This approach allows designers to shop many brands without spending time to travel and search for a right product for their projects. Using cyberspace in the furnishing industry expands the capacity of the Virtual Showroom to fit all brands and manufacturers into one virtual space. Instead of pricey trips to multiple tradeshows and distant conventions, our designers can find a perfect piece of furniture or home décor at one place in the comfort of her home office, coffee shop or even right at the client’s meeting.

We elevated a familiar concept of trade-only showrooms and design centers to an online platform where a designer can browse, save products, and send a request for a quote to our support center.

Trade Discount 

We invite designers, decorators and home stagers to enjoy our Trade pricing, competitive to the same tier as provided by trade showrooms. You must be a registered business professional with the valid seller permit to qualify for the Trade Discount. Please submit your valid Seller Permit to office@laurelatsunset.com after you fill out the online sign up form as Trade/Pro Member. Please note that you will be responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax according to your state regulations.

For the international designers and trade professionals that do not carry a US Seller's Permit, please contact us at office@laurelatsunset.com for personal review of your Trade Account.

3D Rendering Service

Photorealistic 3D Rendering is a perfect way to give your client an exact presentation of the space before they commit to any purchase or renovation suggestion. Professional designers know that very few people are able to create a mental visualization of the project based solely on the mood board. Seeing a complete photorealistic picture will help your client to understand how all elements in the design merge together to create a cohesive and stylish space. 

Also rendering is a sure way to avoid any misunderstandings and understatements. We developed a strong network of professional 3D artists that will give you a tailored visualization of your design presentation. Quality results, fast delivery and direct communication will ensure that your projects get the attention that they deserve. The key to successful visualization of design project is to capture the vibe and atmosphere you create for your client.

3D Model Library

Each item on our extensive library of 3D furniture models is linked with actual an item available for purchase. It helps to simplify the process of converting design presentation into a purchase order. Our 3D designers (techs?) use latest technology and artistic skills to create qualities of textures and materials to make the image more realistic. We chose our reliable partner teams based on combination of high quality, fast delivery and attention to details. Creating a model, choosing light sources, placing virtual cameras on the right angles, rendering and postproduction – we reviewed the execution of the rendering step by step, making sure that our designers will get the best product in the industry.

CEU

Our platform provides Continuing Education Units for your Designer Certification renewal. Trade Members can purchase CEU available at our Design Academy. Pro Members receive free 0.4 units as their membership benefit. Our Academy focuses on technology, management, practice and business of Design. Every designer has a busy schedule, managing to multitask his or her business in order to bring it to whole new level. Our online CEU courses are available 24/7 from your computer, smartphone or tablet letting you choose your time and place for enhancing your skills while putting a check mark on your certification renewal.

“Order for Me” Concierge Service

An additional benefit available to our Pro Members, “Order for Me” Concierge Service is a supporting tool of arranging purchasing and logistics from a third-party seller when a designer places an order over $20,000 with us. We let you focus on your design project by undertaking a hassle of arranging multiple shipping channels via several different suppliers. When you order $20K of product from our platform we will communicate with the third-party seller of your choice, place an order, monitor production and arrange delivery to your client’s home. The advantage of this service is clear: outsourcing your purchasing and logistics will free up more time for you to take on more projects and manage your clients, meaning making more money and grow your business.

Potential Projects Leads

As a Pro Member you have an opportunity to get leads for potential projects. Our Marketing Department constantly reaches out to potential customers via our expansive network of developers, realtors and social media partners. Being well known in the interior design industry, we often receive requests from potential clients to find a designer or other trade professional. We will introduce you to a potential project based on your experience, preferred style and availability. Our goal is to ensure that clients get exceptional service so we pay special attention to the process of matching the needs of the clients to abilities and talents of our designers. Customer satisfaction and designer gratification – is what we strive for!

How much is the membership?

The Trade Membership is free and Pro Membership is $199 per year.  Please see the Trade and Pro Membership benefits here. 

Can I cancel my membership?

If you are not satisfied with your experience with Laurel At Sunset, you can cancel your membership and request a refund of the membership fee, provided you did not use any of our services. If you did not use any of our services and want to stick around, we will credit your yearly membership fee toward the next year.
